Around this cast iron crucifix, which is enthroned on a stone plinth, 3 trees were planted, which is why it is also known as a "Trinity stone". This Marterl was set up in this form by Ferdinand Steinsdörfer in the 1970s. A great-grandfather of his wife Stilla, named Sebastian Böhm (born 1832), originally erected a wooden cross here. For what reason is unfortunately no longer passed down. The property that Sebastian Böhm lived in in Kohlberg and that is still owned by his descendants today bears the house name "Keil", which comes from the last name of a previous owner.
