The “Boucha”, as it is popularly known, is a natural monument. They are fragments of a once proud and probably several hundred years old beech tree almost on the highest point of the Kohlbühl. It used to be seven meters in circumference and had been hollow inside for over 60 years. A lightning strike in the 1970s tore the big old tree into several pieces.

The approximately 150 cm high granite column with the carved date 1746 was discovered during earthworks and placed here after processing by Johann Hausner. The front side shows three suggested faces and stylized branches above, the number 1746 is written in the ceiling area. The right side of the stele contains the year 2010 as the year of installation and the artist's initials. The stele was set in the forest floor a few meters next to the torso of the old beech tree.
