Tips
While the ride over the Klausmarbach viaduct on the Kegelspielradweg is very comfortable, the sight of the viaduct from the valley is not that easy to catch. An unpaved, but quite easily passable forest path leads from the road to Steinbach to Klausmarbach. After a few hundred meters, the impressive viaduct clad with natural stone spans the valley.Even if the view may not be as exciting as the view from above, it can at least be clearly seen here that the originally single-track viaduct was widened in the course of the double-track expansion of the Hünfeld – Wenigentaft railway line in the 1930s.
