  • Coming from the south, you will see the St. Severin Church on the bypass. It is on the right hand side, surrounded by the central dam park. The striking tower makes it appear larger than it actually is.In the 12th century the church was built as a Romanesque granite ashlar church. The original tower was from the Gothic period. The current tower was built in 1911-1912. Many changes have been made to and within the Church over the centuries.
    The interior of the church is more reminiscent of a village church than a town church.
