This rest area is on the northern edge of the large parking lot at Lindemannsruhe.
To the right of these benches there is an entrance to the "Ganerbenweg" (premium circular hiking trail), which leads directly to the Teufelsmauer, Weilerskopf, Teufelsbank, Kanapee and Leininger Grenzstein (always in the direction of the Ungeheuersee).
Another entrance to the "Ganerbenweg" is to the left of these benches and leads directly to the Heidenfels and via detours to the Bismarck Tower.

Here is the text of the poem
Palatinate native and dialect poet Otto Wilms (1915 - 1992):
      Dear God, I don't speak,
when I say, we need you.
I want to trust you completely
then uff you, we can build,
      You're big, I'll admit that
and nor you can wonder duh,
      can help us in need
and worries about the daily bread.

      Dear God, are our light,
      our whole confidence.
Sin mer sometimes also in the Dalles,
      our Glaawe, who traat everything,
      that things are going up
no matter how dangerous it is.
      Aafang, Lewe, Glick and Enn,
      everything lends into your hands.

Dear God, I don't want to klaa,
what I can traa, I want traa.
I want to work and I want to laugh
help us, that mer do it right,
that the strength reaches to Lewe,
what we like to do, is easy for eem,
      give courage, in God's name,
as it comes, so traan mer, Ame!

A really nice prayer that opens up to a Franconian who has worked in Mannem for several years.
