Just off from The Avenue Waggonway you need to lift your bike over the style to get in, unless you want to drop straight in from the waggonway (steep!!). There's a mixture of mounds and carves to practice various skills. It's not very well maintained so a few roots/rocks - be careful.

Came accross this on the way from Tyne Tunnel to Seaton Delaval Hall. Was a bit of a shock to happen upon this in the middle of a route that was otherwise perfect for a novice cyclist who isn't massively fit. Tried to miss that section out on the return journey but the alternative route was via a pedestrian gate that I just couldn't get my bike through or over. Ended up coming back through Monkseaton which wasn't anywhere near as picturesque as the journey out.
