Today's country estate (house and park) was laid out at the beginning of the 19th century. Landfort is a so-called complex historic country estate, where a monumental house with outbuildings forms a unit with a surrounding park, garden or forest. The country estate became the property of the Landfort Heritage Foundation in 2017.
