Very nice landscape between Kampen and Weningstedt. Must experience on foot. The hiking trails are very nicely laid out. For me, the beach section is one of the most beautiful on the island.

Heath areas are among the typical landscapes of Sylt. In late summer, the dunes on the west coast glow in many places in delicate purple. Less known is the Braderuper Heide between Kampen and the village Braderup in the east of the island. Since 1979, the 137-acre area is under conservation. Trails run through the gently rolling countryside, which offers a beautiful view of the Wadden Sea National Park to the mainland.
