Cerro Salazar Geodesic Vertex

The walk up to the vertex is aesy but does feature some rocky passages so proper footwear is definitely recommended.
There is hardly any shade up there and also on the way to the vertex, so the best time of year to visit the vertex and the mailbox would probably be fall, winter and spring. We went on a foggy day so the view was not great. On a sunny day it must be fabulous.

This geodesic vertex on the top of Cerro Salazar offers spectecular views over Rincón de la Victoria, La Cala del Moral and Málaga on the coast as well as the villages of Olías and Totalán inland.
Next to the geodesic benchmark there is a very cute mailbox for Christmas wishes.

Think it's the highest peak around and have a nice view all round. There is a letter box for wishes so you may write down your wishes in a slip if paper and drop it there
