It stretches from Plaza de La Marina in the west to Plaza del General Torrijos in Malagueta in the east. It is considered the green soul of the city and is more reminiscent of a promenade than a park. The foundations of today's Parque de Málaga were laid in 1899, but it was repeatedly expanded over the following decades until it took on its current form.
