"According to popular tradition, this horror would have been the act of a passing horseman, who, driven by a vile passion, would have assaulted the daughter as she was busy combing grass. Although known, the perpetrator managed to evade justice by avoiding justice. A wooden cross still shows the place where the rogue act was committed".
