This sometimes gnarled group of trees around the Hirschberg forest house between the B 3 and L 3077 is a comprehensive natural monument. The trees are predominantly common oaks (Quercus robur). One of the 13 trees has died. The trunk circumference at a height of 1.30 meters is between 4.29 and 6.99 meters. The thickest specimen is southwest of the forester's house on the fence to the chicken coop.

Large, scattered, gnarled trees.
I am delighted with the power these ancient patriarchs exude.
