After the Heimatfest 1977, the Burschenschaft Rauschenberg e.V. was a complete success and a small surplus was generated, it was decided at that time to use it to procure the material for a refuge "Am Wolfsberg". And since there are enough craftsmen in the fraternity, such as Carpenters, joiners and many helpers, the hut could be set up quickly on the idyllic southern slope of the Wolfsberg. The hut is located directly on today's panorama path, is very well maintained and is very popular with many hikers and local walkers.
