The Barranco de los Cernícalos (Kestrel Canyon) is a nature reserve where water flows throughout the year and there are waterfalls year-round. As the name suggests, many kestrels have their territory in this gorge. You often see them in the sky, they circle and hear them. To walk through this gorge is very worthwhile and is definitely recommended. The path constantly crosses the watercourse and there are really numerous waterfalls (some hidden). An overgrown path along the creek. Barranco de los Cernícalos is introduced into a stream bed/gully and runs almost to the village, where it is channeled into a water-carrying gully/lavada.

Nice easy hike. Passing maybe 3 waterfalls. Hiking boots not necessary. Necessary to return same way.
