The Rifugio Sennes is an extraordinary place for a break or to spend the night. With all the necessary comforts, it offers a spectacular panoramic view of some of the most beautiful Dolomite peaks, such as Croda Rossa, Cristallo, Sorapiss and Tofane.

An unmissable experience for those who visit this refuge is a short excursion to the top of Colle di Lasta Piccolo, located at an altitude of almost 2,300 meters.

Fantastic refuge in the heart of the Fanes-Senes-Braies Natural Park. Equipped with all comforts, it offers a wide view of some of the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites: Croda Rossa, Cristallo, Sorapiss and Tofane. A short hike to the Col de Lasta Piccolo peak (2297 m), a not very marked relief that dominates the structure, is a must for those who stay overnight.

The Sennes Refuge was built by the Palfrader “Corjel” family between 1937-1939 and officially inaugurated in the 1940s. In 1962 the first major changes, with the laying of a water pipe (from the source under the top of the Col de Riciogogn), the installation of a power generator and the construction of a heating system with a wood boiler. In 1968 the road was built which has allowed the transit for supplies since then. In 1985 the first enlargement works that brought it to its present state.
