The Alte Kinsach pumping station is a listed building for flood protection on the Danube. The pumping station is located in the Oberalteich district at the mouth of the Alte Kinsach. It was built in 1947 to ensure internal drainage of the dike hinterland in the event of flooding. Since the current pumping capacity is not sufficient and the existing system cannot be expanded accordingly, a new building is being planned about a hundred meters to the west. The existing building including the Mahlbusen should be preserved as a monument, but without any technical function.
