Today, a church building of the Protestant Congregation Bierum, Holwierde and Krewerd, a member hall church with arched windows and roof ridge, built in 1890 by the builder Scheltens. The partially broken roof rider was renewed in 1971. The interior was radically altered in 1987 according to a design by architect JA Jongman.
