These accommodations, completely called "Vojno ugostiteljska ustanova za odmor i rekreaciju", were found e.g. in Baško Polje on the Makarska Riviera, in the Serbian Tara National Park or this particularly large hotel in Kupari. Built in the late 1970s, it held around 700 guests.
It included a cafe, a restaurant, several bars and conference rooms, a swimming pool and other leisure facilities.
