The last hike from the Kueser Plateau. Today we hiked parts of the lizard path, the monastery path. The path goes through the forest towards Zeltingen-Rachtig then take the Klostermühle Siebenborn junction. Then go down through the vineyards. At the monastery mill, take the bike path to Lieser. From there through the vineyards up to the Kueser Plateau. Unfortunately we had to pass the grapevines (shortcut) a bit because the way came to an end.

The family trail goes from Bernkastel-Kues up to the waterfall and then on to the castle. Nice path, easy to go with children, but not with a stroller. We then walked down the Burgweg. If I would not run with small children and in the wet, it is steep and a bit impassable but beautiful.

Today we had everything with us. Wind, rain, thunderstorm, sun. Went from the Kueser Plateau to Lieser through the vineyards, always downhill. Along the Moselle with the remains of the flood back to Bernkastel Kues. Is going well. We then took a taxi to the Platou.

The beginning of the tour was like being in the jungle, you sometimes had to make your way through the undergrowth. It was sometimes very muddy but very nice. Please wear sturdy shoes. After the jungle was a construction site, we first had to find our way again. Then it went to Altenbrak along beautiful forest paths. From Altenbrak to Treseburg we went along the Bode. In Treseburg we wanted to go back by bus, but unfortunately nobody drove anymore. So we walked back about 8 km along a somewhat poorly signposted hiking trail. It was also muddy and totally overgrown but very beautiful. My cell phone stopped recording from Treseburg onwards, so the rest is no longer on it, which was a shame.

Short break in Allrode in the Harz Mountains. Are from Allrode to Hexentanzplatz. Nice destination, but was very well attended today. Then walked down to Thale .. It was about 3 km uphill. Sturdy shoes are a must. The path is very beautiful but rocky. We went back by bus, but it was 2 hours to Hexentanzplatz and an hour down to Thale.
