The old Dresdener Straße used to run here in the direction of Goldbach. One of the last houses on Goldbacher Weg is the inn "Zum Napoleonstein", which was operated until 1951, and is now residential building No. 9. In front of this house is a 2.10 meter high obelisk. This memorial stone was provided with the inscription "May 12, 1813 - 1913" and a portrait of Napoleon. The monument was intended to commemorate the devastating destruction of the city by the Napoleonic troops and their retreat along this route.
