The second source is at the entrance to the Neugersdorfer Bad (♁50° 58′ 59″ N, 14° 37′ 9″ E). The source was originally located south of the Volksbad on the Spreequellstrasse. In 1888 it was made of wrought iron and relocated a little to the side during the construction of the Spreequellbad in Neugersdorf in 1926. The former spring meadows on the outskirts were previously drained and partly built on with houses. In 1996 the source had to be restored. The so-called Spreegraben, coming from the Neugersdorfer source, runs about 50 meters past the Spreeborn, the Ebersbacher Spreequelle. The Neugersdorf spring is considered to be the richest of all three springs.
