The field chapel dates from the 17th and 18th centuries. From 2014, the owners put their long-standing efforts into action - they renovated the chapel and restored the interior with the altarpiece. The Hofberg chapel is characterized by the three linden trees that surround it and that shape the landscape on the Hofberg. (Source: donaukurier.de)
Originally, four linden trees stood around the newly renovated chapel. After one was destroyed by lightning years ago, two winter linden trees and one summer linden tree remained.
