The wetland is located east of the municipality of Lägerdorf and is best reached via the municipality of Rethwisch. There is a 🅿️ parking lot there, which is also popular with 🛶 water hikers. A railway along the former Breitenburg shipping canal takes you to the 🌱North wetland in the municipality of Rethwisch, which is looked after and maintained by the local biotope association.
