Next to the old town hall is an older fire station that is still in use today.

The Bulach town hall was built according to plans by Hugo Slevogt. Like many other buildings, it did not survive the Second World War and was rebuilt in 1949 and 1950 and newly renovated for the 800th anniversary. Pictures by the painter Adalbert Schindler have been hanging here since 2007.
