Duffield is a large village in the Amber Valley region of Derbyshire. It has many striking buildings, such as the grand Duffield Hall, and once was adorned by a Norman castle, of which there are scant remains today.

Nearby Kedleston and Allestree Parks offer beautiful walks, whilst the Peak District National Park is only a short drive away, if you fancy something a bit wilder.

There are plenty of places to eat and drink, as well as accommodation options. It has a train station on the Midland line between Derby and Leeds.
