This is the highest point of the Via Belgica route on Dutch soil. This is also the highlight for the enthusiastic volunteers of the Via Linea Recta foundation. Here they bring "their" piece of the old Roman road back to the surface in an artistic and cultural way. Walk with a guide along the traces left by the Romans here.

Just underground are rich remains from Roman times. Invisible to the unsuspecting passerby, but all these archaeological treasures come to life during the walk. You will discover, among other things, an enormous tomb of a rich Roman lady, military watchtowers and of course the Via Belgica.

The guide will bring some of his own Roman finds. The master storyteller also wrote a novel about Roman life in the area, available at the neighborhood point. After your eyes have been opened to Roman Landgraaf, you can also end there with coffee and flan.
