The Zuid-Hollands Landschap Foundation allows the Crezéepolder to further develop into a freely accessible nature oasis a stone's throw from Ridderkerk and Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht. You can walk beautifully and you run the chance to encounter many bird and plant species. Very special species are given space again in the Crezeepolder.

The Crezéepolder is a 75-hectare nature reserve outside the dykes on the North between Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht and Ridderkerk, in the Dutch province of South Holland. The Crezéepolder used to be an agricultural destination, after the buntings were reclaimed around the Second World War.
Once a succession of buntings stretched along the North on the east side of Ridderkerk. Now there are three completely different nature and recreation areas. We start our walk in Gorzenpark. This former landfill has been transformed into a hilly nature reserve with various water features.

From this tower a beautiful view over the Crezeepolder. The Kinderdijk windmills are also very well visible.
