On the village meadow is the originally rectangular church, dating from the Middle Ages, with masonry made of fieldstones. The foundations were built by the Flemish people 700 years ago when they settled in what was then a Slavic country under the guidance of the Ascanians.
The place was first mentioned in documents in 1346 as Schultendorf.
It is uncertain whether a church already existed at that time. In any case, the church has a very old wall made of unhewn fieldstones between the tower and the nave. It was probably originally built as a small, single-nave village church without a tower. The church tower was then built in 1744. In 1896 it was extended with a transept and extended to the east. This created a church shape that is rather unusual for our area: a church with a crossing that has a cross as its floor plan.

Baroque hall church, there is no information about the time of construction. The place was founded in the 14th century by Flemings who may have built a church. The current building was built in 1744 and expanded in 1886.
