Gernsheimer Forest Educational Trail

The informative and lovingly designed forest trail offers various information boards about the inhabitants of the forest. A visit to the narrow yet easily walkable path alone is worthwhile.

The forest nature trail is a great way to find out who, where, when and how is at home in the forest. Through small paths, past informative signs, bird houses and feeding places (all of which apart from the purpose of course also serves to illustrate) nature becomes a little more tangible. :) If you feel like it, you can stop by the bird protection on the way and take a break;) (Currently closed due to Corona)

A really great path in the Gernsheim forest, which is otherwise criss-crossed by wide forest paths. And also really instructive, the information boards. For example, I didn't know that the oriole was native to our area.
