So nice to see these forest pigs roaming around freely. What a joy they have, especially when it has rained πŸ˜„

I've just arrived at the Zuylestein Estate when there's a grunt among the trees. When I look I see two large pigs wandering around. I read something on the estate's website about their bush pigs and this must be them. Like living harvesters, they combat blackberry bushes and other plant species. They get acorns, beechnuts, carrots and sprouted fruit and vegetables from our vegetable garden every day. Later I find out that the meat from the bush pigs is sold at the estate's vegetable garden.
