Tips
Up here, between Storsjön and Lissrörsjön, whose waters flow into the Njupeskär on the edge of the fells, only a few hikers get lost. The southern Kungsleden attracts a few long-distance hikers in the summer here. But especially in winter, a visit is worthwhile, when the landscape is bathed in mystical white and there is absolute silence on the fells. Between frozen lakes and impressive snowdrifts, you can follow your own path through the Swedish winter mountains and be enchanted by the typical Nordic winter light.
