An after-work loop starting and ending at Emsquellen, past the two Senne lakes and up to the atmospheric Falkenburg 🚴🌞 The majority of the route ran through the vast Senne military training area, which this year was only relatively rarely opened to public traffic, thanks to the geopolitical situation

Sunday round over the Dalkeweg towards Rheda-Wiedenbrück & Oelde, then through the Hohen Hagen and Vellern to the Aktivpark Phoenix and via Sünninghausen and the Stromberger Schweiz to an apple pie duo in our favorite café Heinrichs. Back through Batenhorst and along the Linteler See back to GTown.

Into the weekend with an extended gravel tour in the Teutoburg Forest around Holte Castle and Oerlinghausen. Besides 4 summits, some nettles and minor injuries, there was also a lot to see animal-wise, especially in the Wistinghause Senne, where some horned creatures were roaming right in the middle

Wonderful cycling weather on Saturday, so it became a 100km ride to Warendorf on low-traffic paths and along many lakes, the most prominent certainly being the Feldmarksee. On the atmospheric and very well-attended WAF marketplace, this time instead of cake at Daily One, there were Belgian waffles with cream 🌞😋

A smaller Saturday round to get the old (E) bike moving again, which worked well and without complaint. It went over Steinhagen to the edge of the Teuto near Ascheloh/Amshausen and back via Halle, Brockhaben & along the Hühnermoor. Weather overcast but dry, discovered a few new trail sections. Could have been worse ;)
