Designed in 1927 and inaugurated in 1932 with the name of Foro Mussolini, today Foro Italico is one of the most important and evocative sports complexes in all of Italy.
The facility is surrounded by statues of handsome athletes who symbolize the various sports activities.
Even today the Foro Italico hosts events of international importance. In 2022, for example, the European Swimming Championships and the Beach Volleyball World Championships were held.
