We had a discussion about this: the bridge is only suitable for single track. Logically, two steam trams at the same time are too heavy, and so often they do not meet in opposite directions. But was the entire route single track? Or were there switches before and after the bridge? Or was there a winding track, as it still is today in the Leidsestraat in A'dam?
