Malote Route and Surroundings

The MALOTE ROUTE is a varied walk through the Hollands Duin. One time you walk under shady trees, then the landscape breaks open completely and you walk along sand drifts! You pass beautiful viewpoints. With a fantastic view over Noordwijk, dunes and the sea. Back you walk along the edge of the dune with a view over the bulb fields. Which bloom with beautiful colors from the end of March to the beginning of May. The route is named after the Malotedel. This is a former small-scale farmland in the middle of the dunes. This valley is probably named after the former owner.

Definitely a fun path. If you don't like dogs, you should avoid this area because it is full of (stray) dogs. Very busy on Sundays but think it won't be that bad on weekdays :)
