The Malote Route is a varied walk through the Hollands Duin (Dutch Dunes). One moment you'll walk under shady trees, the next the landscape completely opens up, passing drifting sands! You'll pass beautiful viewpoints with fantastic views of Noordwijk, the dunes, and the sea. On your way back, you'll walk along the edge of the dunes, overlooking the bulb fields, which bloom with a magnificent display of color from late March to early May. The route is named after the Malotedel, a former small-scale farmland nestled in the dunes. This small valley is likely named after its former owner.

Definitely a fun path. If you don't like dogs, you should avoid this area because it is full of (stray) dogs. Very busy on Sundays but think it won't be that bad on weekdays :)
