There’s nothing not absurdly beautiful about this stretch of the River Dart and walking along it, particularly in summer, is absolutely blissful. A path meanders along beside the water and this section forms part of the Dartmoor Way. There are some lovely wild swimming opportunities along the Dart between Holne and New Bridge as well.

New Bridge itself was new once upon a time but is now quite old. A Grade II listed structure, this pretty stone bridge is the perfect way to end this stretch of path.
