Sinkholes are hollow shapes that are caused by dissolution processes in limestone. They are under legal protection of nature and may not be changed or removed. The two sinkholes were noted in the first topographical land survey at the beginning of the 19th century. In the second sinkhole, the rainwater accumulates to form a pond. This is surrounded by an ecologically valuable vegetation border. Source: Text information board
