Berg Castle, built on a hill above the town of Nennig, consists of 2 castles: the lower and the upper castle. These are 2 connected water castles, the history of which goes back to the 12th century. The lower castle is privately owned, the upper castle - converted into a Renaissance castle in later centuries - houses a hotel, a restaurant and a modern casino. Berg Castle can only be viewed from the outside. Source: Text information board
