Midden-Delfland ferry De Kwakel
In April and October, the De Kwakel ferry only sails at weekends and from 1 May to the end of September the ferry sails daily from 11 a.m. The last departure from the Bommeer in the Broekpolder is at 5:30 PM, at the Foppenplas 't Jachthuis at 5:40 PM and at the Kwakelweg at 5:45 PM. A crossing with the De Kwakel ferry is a nice change during a walking or cycling trip through the recreation area of Midden-Delfland, which is used a lot, especially on nice days. The sailing season in normal times
The ferry normally sails 170 days a year back and forth from the polder and nature areas of Midden-Delfland to the wooded Broekpolder in Vlaardingen, with a stopover at Eetcafé het Jachthuis. From 1 April to September, De Kwakel sails every day from 11:00 to 17:50, in October only on weekends.
