All that remains is the old chewing building with lettering. The last documented promotion was in 1966. Today there is a natural stone trade. It remains the only known chew with neon lettering.

The Neuwülfingsburg colliery is a former hard coal mine in Albringhausen. The mine was also known as the Albringhausen colliery. It emerged from the Neu-Wülfingsburg colliery, which was operated in Albringhausen as early as the 19th century. [2] The mine was the last colliery in the area of the city of Wetter.Source: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeche_Neuw%C3%BClfingsburg

The Neuwülfingsburg colliery was in operation from 1934 to 1967. It originated in the mine field of the Neu-Wülfingsburg colliery, which was built in 1839, and mined hard coal.Today the former chew building, which is used by a natural stone trade, is still preserved. There are nice sculptures in front of the building.More info: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeche_Neuw%C3%BClfingsburg

Until the sixties of the last century, hard coal was mined here and transported away on the Elbschetalbahn. Fortunately, the local seams were not very productive, so it remained at this small colliery and today we can enjoy the beautiful nature around the former railway line.
