Holy moley... what a monster! If there's a harder climb in Gloucestershire I'd like to know where. Very long, with a massive steep section that keeps getting steeper until it peaks at around 25%. This is followed by more climbing of around 10%, which if you're still going seems like a rest! 700 feet of elevation gain in under two miles and most of it in the first mile!

To date my toughest climb locally. For my money this is harder than Worcestershire Beacon, Portway and Levers Hill. Glad I've done it but it isn't easy.

A very hard climb, especially as it's a surface which is easily greasy/leafy, a good one to have done. I wouldn't enjoy descending on it I don't imagine.
