A large open common with nice smooth roads perfect for passing through or stopping to enjoy the views. Entrances and exits to the common are via one of the cattle grids to keep the bovine residents, including highland cattle in every size and colour, in the right place.

Lovely stretch of road after tackling the climbs either side. Whether you spin through and admire the views or stop to watch the adorable Highland cattle. There is a pub up on the common or smaller shops in the surrounding villages if you need a coffee and snacks to go with the views.

Whichever way you get there, except maybe Cirencester, you're likely have done a decent sized climb and you'll be glad to see it flatten out a bit! ;)
