At this point the Alte Jeetzel runs over an underground tunnel under the Neue Jeetzel (Jeetzel Canal). On both sides of the dike there are flood protection paths that are approved for cycling and are also wonderfully suitable for this. Here you have a beautiful view of the Alte Jeetzel, a great photo opportunity, especially when the sun is rising!
