A Grade I-listed structure, Stopham Bridge spans the River Arun in Sussex and it quite something to see. It's thought to have been built in the 1420s although once sported a drawbridge after a section was destroyed during the civil war.

To protect it, a new bridge was built in the 80s for traffic. You can still walk and cycle over the original bridge.

Hiking

A Scheduled Monument, believed to have been constructed c.1422-3. One span of the bridge was destroyed during the Civil War and replaced by a drawbridge. The bridge's central arch was modified in 1822 and bears this date. [Wikipedia]
