A spider's web of trails explores this area of commercial woodland, not far from the hamlet of Bedham in the South Downs National Park. Large areas of chestnut coppice are found here, as well as beautiful wildflowers, such as bilberry, in the warmer months. Well-managed coppice leads to varied wildlife, as plants and animals make use of the newly cut stands or coups.
