Great route through quiet lanes and pretty villages. The short section at the end of Blackgate Lane is a track towards the road at Wisborough and is bumpy and could be very muddy if wet. Lots of places to stop for a coffee or pop into a country pub.

4m Fittleworth to Pulborough
Fittleworth stores to start for lovely coffee and bacon bap. Walk through lovely footpaths and tracks to Stopham village. Then over the river Arun at Stopham Bridge and through the woods past the old iron age hillfort hidden in the trees.

Pleasant woods with lots of bird song. Lovely Downland village of Slindon with the Forge Cafe which is well worth a visit.
