Hiking

All that remains of the medieval castle from the 13th century are the surrounding walls and the moat. A palace was built in its place, but was partially demolished in 1777. The square courtyard, the round corner tower and the southern residential wing are still there. This was also the seat of the Hohenlohe bailiffs and the administrative building. The building has been privately owned since the 19th century.

The former north-eastern corner tower and the southern residential wing are still evidence of the former castle in Adolzfurt, which dates back to a medieval moated castle and was the official residence of Hohenlohe for a long time. The castle was partially demolished in 1777, and the remaining parts were completely rebuilt. The complex has been privately owned since the 19th century.
