A circular path, which is signposted as "Seerundweg", leads around the entire Breitenauer See. At the dam you can choose between a short and a longer round. The longer round is approx. 400 meters longer and leads along the top of the dam crest, the shorter one runs at the bottom of the dam. Overall, the circular lake route is around 4.5 km long.
