The picturesque Poetensteig leads north of Buckow through the terminal moraine of Saxon Switzerland to the Dachsberg and through the Wolfsschlucht (a meltwater channel). The source valley of the Silberkehle joins the Silberberg (this flows into the Großer Tornowsee).
