A little anectode: 1957 in Burgdorf, I was in the 3rd grade of primary school with Miss Rif, she forbade us to come to school with knee socks while the Chasseral still has snow. Since I couldn't see the Chasseral from the Eysrasse and it was warm enough for me, I went to school with knee socks on. Result, 3 big lines in the amount booklet!
